Stephanie McMahon Wants More Lead Creative Writers

- After firing Eric Pankowski a few weeks back, WWE currently does not have one single lead creative writer - they have approximately four, and Stephanie McMahon apparently wants more.

As noted, the guy currently replacing Pankowski is a guy that was hired by him as a VP in creative a few months back. He's now been promoted to Senior VP. Another writer is David Kreizman, a daytime Emmy winner, who was hired a few months back. Then you have Ed Koskey, who is RAW's lead writer, Dave Kapoor, who is SmackDown's lead writer and Ryan Ward, who works with Dusty Rhodes on NXT.

There's a running joke that many different people have different titles, the pay sucks for those positions and that within the past week, a few people asked for raises and were denied. "They have enough people to field a football team," it was noted by a source.

WWE Announces Another Hall of Famer for 2013

WWE announced on tonight's RAW that SmackDown General Manager Booker T will be joining the 2013 Hall of Fame class in just a few weeks from New York City.

Booker will be inducted with Bruno Sammartino, Trish Stratus, Mick Foley, Bob Backlund and Donald Trump this year.

SmackDown Rating

Fridays episode of Smackdown averaged 2.39 million viewers and scored a 2.09 TV rating. It was the lowest rating since the January 4th episode.

Smackdown ranked #7 in overall viewers on cable TV, #7 in males 18-34, and #5 in males 18-49. This is reflected the adult male ratings being the lowest of the year going against the Big East college basketball tournament.

Ryback vs Mark Henry Plans

Before the possible spoiler that came out this afternoon, word coming out of WWE this weekend was that despite the six-man match announced on SmackDown, it will be Ryback vs. Mark Henry in a singles match at WrestleMania 29.

Possible WM29 Entrance Revealed for Swagger, Striker Teases Surprise, SmackDown Social Media Score

- Friday's episode of WWE SmackDown scored a 73,875 in social media activity, up 14% from last week. This was the third most socially active SmackDown of the year, according to Trendrr.tv.

- Matt Striker teased a surprise for tonight's WWE live event in Providence, Rhode Island. We will have news and notes from the show later on. Striker tweeted:

"Some nice twists tonite at #wweprovidence. Youll never guess who just "jetted" in..."

- Jack Swagger teased on Twitter that he may be driving this big rig for his WrestleMania 29 entrance:

JR Blog: Swagger vs. Jericho, Austin Going to Mexico

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross is back with a new blog on jrsbarbq.com. Here are some highlights:

- @steveaustinBSR about to head to Mexico to tape season three of CMT's Redneck Island and then onto his ranch in south Texas to start a new, reality show for CMT taped on the Broken Skull Ranch. Plus, the Texas Rattlesnake and devout JR's BBQ Sauce and Chipotle Ketchup user is about to step into the world of weekly podcasts. Stay tuned and follow Steve on Twitter for more info.

- Helluva match on Friday Night Smackdown between @RealJackSwagger and @IAmJericho. Jericho brings out the best in everyone he faces, which is a legit artform on the grappling canvas, and the former Division One, two sport athlete Swagger is getting better each week. Swagger's addition of veteran Zeb Colter to his presentation has been positive from the young Oklahoman's development.

- Still getting some lingering feedback regarding @CMPunk interrupting The Undertaker's tribute to the late, Paul Bearer Monday night. Again, I did not and do not have a problem with it especially considering that WWE honored the memory of my late friend throughout the night. For PB to be involved in another major, storyline leading into WrestleMania, would have thrilled him to no end. Villains do bad things and usually get their comeuppance in the end. Time will tell on the latter as it relates to Punk ending 'The Streak' which would be as big a defining moment as when the Ultimate Warrior beat Hulk Hogan at WM6, in the eyes of some.

- Was asked about if there was something that I could do over in my career what would it be. There aren't too many things because I'm a believer that things happen for a reason and we generally get what we have earned in life. However, I would love to have a 'do over' on my part of the call of @ShawnMichaels vs. @NatrBoyRicFlair bout. They deserved better from me at WM24. Perhaps I was TOO invested in the retirement match. However, no excuses just wish I had nailed it better.
