Synopsis & Poster for WWE Payback Pay-Per-View Event



Here is the synopsis for WWE’s Payback pay-per-view event:


WWE reinvigorates its pay-per-view line up with a fresh new concept that will serve as the perfect stage for all the top Superstars to settle their long simmering grudges and set the stage for the sizzling road to SummerSlam. All major championships will be on the line including the revamped WWE Championship, plus the World Heavyweight Championship and much more. The WWE Payback pay-per-view event will take place on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.

Paul Heyman's Status with CM Punk, WWE Payback PPV Poster Revealed, More on Eve at NXT


- Brock Lesnar is featured on the promotional poster for WWE's Payback pay-per-view so it looks like he will be working that event:
- Regarding Paul Heyman spending most of his time on RAW with Brock Lesnar, he has not been split from his association with CM Punk. The feeling is that Heyman isn't needed in the segments with Punk and The Undertaker. 

- We noted before that former WWE Diva Eve Torres met with some of the potential new Diva talents at NXT recently. Part of the reason Eve was there was so she could explain to the women what the WWE lifestyle on the road is like so they have an idea about what they're getting into.

WWE Hiring More Soap Opera Writers, Payback PPV Pre-sale News


- WWE is holding a ticket pre-sale this week for the new Payback pay-per-view. The event takes place on Sunday, June 16th from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois. The online pre-sale began Thursday morning with the password PUNKPPV. Tickets will be on sale for $500, $300, $90, $70, $50 and $25 and go on sale to the general public this Saturday. 

- As noted, the new WWE head writer is former soap opera writer David Kreizman. WWE is looking to hire more former soap opera writers, according to PWInsider.com. 

Former WWE writer Brian Gewirtz, who writes most of The Rock's material, has also been stepping up on the creative side. There is still no real push for Paul Heyman to join the creative team, although he does work with various wrestlers who seek his advice.
