Bay News 9 interviewed Chris Jericho. Here are some
highlights.
If he runs into Hulk Hogan, who also
lives in Tampa : “No, I actually run into the Incredible Hulk once in
awhile – the big green guy. He chases me down the block sometimes, but I
haven’t seen Hulk Hogan in years.”
If he has a dream match: “I really don’t think that way.
I’ve kind of done everything that I’ve ever wanted to do in wrestling and kind
of worked with everybody, from the biggest of the big to the smallest of the
small. I go back to wrestling when I have time available because I still love
it and it’s fun for me. I’d work with anybody. To me, I just enjoy doing a lot
of different things and that’s the way it should be at this point in time,
especially after 22 years of being in wrestling. You can’t just keep all of
your eggs in that basket. Over the years I’ve kind of drifted away from that
world.
“It gives me the chance to do other
cool things, like Robot Combat League, which was an amazing project to be
involved with that came across my desk and was so interesting and so unique.
It’s something, like, you hear about an 8-foot-tall giant robot fighting show
and it’s like, ‘how can I not want to be involved with that?’ So it blew my
mind, actually, just the technology and how far advanced it was to have this
show – the fact that it even existed and the fact that the robots move as fast
as they do and fight as hard as they do and are as cool as they are.”
